Commission-Only Sales Representative – CCTV Access Control Solutions
Kayla Technology Advisors designs, installs, and supports commercial security systems including video surveillance (CCTV), access control, and related low-voltage solutions. We help businesses protect people, property, and operations with modern, reliable security technology. Role Summary
As a Commission-Only Sales Representative, you will identify, develop, and close new business for commercial CCTV and access control projects. This is a hunter role focused on outbound calling, prospecting, relationship building, and converting leads into signed installation and service agreements.
You’ll collaborate with our technical team to scope solutions, build proposals, and guide customers from first contact through contract signing.
This position is 100% commission based, ideal for someone entrepreneurial who thrives on performance pay.
What You’ll Sell
You’ll focus on commercial and light industrial clients that need:
• CCTV / Video Surveillance – IP cameras, NVR/VMS platforms, remote monitoring, analytics
• Access Control – Card/fob/mobile credential systems, door hardware integration, audit trails
• Upgrades & Expansions – Replacing legacy systems, adding doors/cameras, cloud transitions
• Service & Maintenance – Recurring support plans, inspections, system health checks
Responsibilities
Prospect and generate new opportunities via outbound calls, email sequences, site visits, networking, referrals
Build and manage a steady pipeline of qualified commercial prospects
Conduct discovery calls and site walk-throughs to understand needs and risks
Work with engineering/operations to design solutions and pricing
Present proposals, overcome objections, and close deals
Maintain accurate CRM notes, forecasts, and activity reporting
Develop long-term relationships for repeat work and referrals
Stay current on security tech trends and competitor offerings
Territories / Target Markets
- Primary market: commercial businesses (retail, property management, warehouses, offices, healthcare, schools, hospitality, municipalities, etc.)

Compensation (Commission-Only)
- Uncapped commission paid on closed/won projects

Qualifications
Required:
- Proven B2B sales experience (security, low-voltage, IT, telecom, construction, or similar preferred)
- Strong phone-based prospecting and deal-closing skills
- Ability to communicate technical concepts clearly
- Valid driver’s license + reliable transportation
- Basic CRM and proposal tool comfort
Preferred:
- Experience selling CCTV, access control, alarms, or networked systems
- Existing book of contacts in commercial property, facilities, or construction
- Understanding of RFP/bid cycles and jobsite workflows
